2010 TESTIMONIALS
What was the most memorable moment for you? And what is your next step?
"My most memorable moment is when we collectively prayed for the nations. The corporate intercessions of believers with a heart for spreading the gospel, the saving of lost souls." - Rae
"The most memorable moment was the worship time in the evening. The house was rocking!" - Hilda, Evergreen SGV
At the "How to Spread the Gospel" workshop, I was touched by the way Pastor Kyle Shimazaki shares the gospel everywhere he goes. I also learned that we shouldn't be discouraged when we are rejected, because they are not rejecting us. We are only the messengers, we are not responsible for converting people, but to give the message of the good news... This conference opened my eyes to God's work around the world! I want to learn more about missions and need to equip myself for my next mission, whether it is increase Bible knowledge, learn how to lead Worship/small groups, have more testimonies, etc. I'll also pray more for the missionaries and offer more towards missions!!! - Wendy, EFC Irvine
"I was really impressed by James Choung's message. His explanation of our generation helped me understand how to connect with my friends better, and the 3 -minute Gospel presentation was so memorable I regurgitated it for my dad to hear!" - Tracy Tim Tim
"The plenary speaker's message was very convicting. I have a new appreciation of the Muslim culture and people group, and was challenged to begin to form relationships with them, and to show and share God's love to many who either misunderstand "Christians" or are simply unaware of Christ's redemption and grace." - Coleen W.
2009 TESTIMONIALS
"The 3 main speakers were amazing! They touched upon issues to motivate me to take a look at how I am living my daily life." - Anonymous
"I was struggling with my self-identity, because I placed it in worldly values like my occupation. During the conference all three speakers spoke of a greater purpose, a higher calling, and having faith in God rather than myself or the world." - Peter H.
"Every part (of the conference) was so good....but probably talking at my table with potential missionaries was the best!" Paul-Pruitt
"I really enjoyed *Mia's testimony. i could relate to her story and it gave me hope for my unsaved parents." - Anonymous
Say “Yes, Lord” and Go!
The most memorable moment that I can recall from 2009 Passion for the Nations was the worship. I was very moved when I saw hundreds of young people like me together worshiping God, praying for the unreached people groups, and sharing the same heart for mission. That scene reminded me of Timothy 4:12: “Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young...” Maybe many young Christians like me sometime look at ourselves and wonder what we can do for God’s kingdom, and maybe sometimes we feel that we are bounded by school and work and don’t have time to go to missions. Through this conference, God put a passion in my heart, a heart willing to go out of my comfort zone to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. I believe that God is going to use many young Christians like me to carry His message of salvation to many nations, if we are willing to say “Yes, Lord” and go!

It was NOT for me by Kay Carey
In January 2009, I first heard about a certain missions conference. I immediately knew that it was NOT for me...While I was perusing the brochure, lo and behold I strongly sensed that God was nudging ME to consider attending too…I thought, “I came back from overseas serving as a missionary for more than a decade…” Read More...
